A site for research, learning and experimentation, 421 provides a nurturing environment for emergent creative practices and those who want to harness the arts as an agent for social inquiry and transformation.

Dear friends of 421,
We would like to inform you that all our spaces will be taking a short pause from Wednesday, October 1, until Tuesday, October 7, as we prepare for our Fall 2025 exhibition. This includes our galleries, Dukkan421, and beloved community spaces, the studios, cafe, and Reading Room.
We can’t wait to welcome you back on Wednesday, October 8, when our spaces will reopen with our usual hours, Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 8 pm.
